June Letters was founded by graphic designer Jess Levitz. After working for years in the tech world as an in-house designer and moonlighting as a freelancer - Jess felt the urge to strike out on her own, and hasn't looked back since. For the past several years Jess has focused on creating thoughtful and beautiful brand identities for her passionate clients.

Other than designing, Jess enjoys hanging out with her scientist husband Josh, baby boy Izzie, and her scrappy terrier Jack. She loves chicken noodle soup, collecting random vintage memorabilia, caring for her 19 house plants, painting, and making candles.

MY BRANDING PROCESS

Plan

I always start my process with clients by intimately getting to know their business and brand goals. I send out an in-depth questionnaire, collaborate on an inspiration Pinterest board, and set up a 1:1 phone chat. From that information I create a brand strategy document that outlines your business and design goals.

Create

Once we have our strategy in place the design process begins. I always start with an intense week of sketching and conceptualizing. I then present 3 logo directions for the first round. We collaborate on 2 more rounds of revisions before finalizing. Your detailed feedback is crucial and appreciated.

Conclude

Once the logo has been finalized I will create a brand style guide and design the rest of your requested collateral. When our project has come to a close, I will send over a folder of all your final files.  I am happy to then suggest web designers, copy editors, and other consultants that will help bring your business to life.
