Portfolio Update: Mims House Wedding Venue Branding

I have absolutely loved working with the Mims House team on their brand! It was so fun to have the chance to indulge in my romantic side to create a brand that is feminine and whimsical. The brand is for a Southern historic manor that is being re-vitalized into a gorgeous wedding and event venue. The venue is located right outside Raleigh, NC - and is an old white mansion surrounded by magnolia trees. Pretty dreamy right? I can only imagine how many gorgeous weddings are going to take place there!

For the logo they wanted something romantic with a little quirk that included a magnolia flower. After only 2 rounds the logo was chosen and refined and the brand really came together so quickly afterwards! It was a truly seamless experience, and I cannot wait to see their business blossom!

If you are in "The Triangle" and are getting married - you gotta check out Mims House!

Hope you enjoyed! I am currently booking branding clients for mid-February and March - so please do get in touch if you would like to work together!

Today I turn 32, firmly planting my foot into my “mid-30’s”. It is weird to have a birthday in the midst of a time where it feels like the world is falling apart. But I am also so hopeful for all this 32nd year will bring. Hoping we

So much of what we see on Instagram is the highlight reel of someone’s life. Which is understandable we all want to share our best work and our best selves. But if you feel yourself spending a lot of time comparing, just know that behind the sc
I made this graphic to be on kids shirts, but thinking I may need an adult version! It is surreal walking around NYC and nearly everyone is wearing a mask. I find myself smiling at people under my mask and then realizing people can’t see my smi
Any other parents feel like crying when it is 8pm and you have to start all your work after a full day of childcare? 😭😭 this image has nothing to do with the caption, was just looking through old work recently and thought this was cute.
