A Year in Review: 2016 Logos

Hello friends, I know it has been so long since I posted here! But here I am and excited to share with you a selection of the logo designs I created in 2016. This year I made a strategic decision to raise my prices and focus on taking less clients at once. I also decided to focus my business just on logo design and visual branding. It was one of the best decisions I have made for my business! I have been able to work with such incredible clients this year and have been truly inspired by their passion and dedication to their businesses. I hope to do more in-depth posts about many of these projects in the new year, there is so much to share!

Wishing you peace, love, and lots of laughter in the new year. Bring on 2017!

100 Days of Hand Lettered Book Covers

Hi friends. It has been way too long since I posted here! I have been absolutely swamped with the move to NYC, being a mama, and lots of client work. Well, even though I am so busy - of course I had to add on another personal project. What can I say, I am a little bit crazy! I have always wanted to design a book cover, so I decided to start practicing. I am posting my designs on instagram every few days under the tag #100daysofhandletteredbookcovers. Hope you will follow along! Here are what I have done so far.

Client Spotlight: Vinley Market

Vinley Market is a newly launched online wine boutique. Frustrated with the stuffy brands of traditional wine retailers, Vinley Market came to us to create a beautiful visual brand and e-commerce website that appealed to savvy young women and set the business up for success. In partnership with Do-Hee Kim, who designed and developed a custom Shopify website, while I created the branding, illustration, and provided creative direction. We also produced branded photography in partnership with photographer Christine Choe for the Vinley Market team to use in upcoming marketing campaigns.

I enjoyed working on this sophisticated and feminine brand, and especially loved painting those wine bottles! Hope you enjoy and will check out Vinley Market!
